History
Founded in 2003, Urban Fabric is a privately-owned family business that started as a single property in Fremantle. Since then, it has grown to offer almost 150 furnished rooms and apartments across six sites in the greater Fremantle area.
Today, Urban Fabric provides a diverse range of housing options from furnished rooms through to self-contained apartments. Our varied community includes people of all ages and walks of life who are in need of safe, secure and comfortable accommodation.
We work closely with a number of government and non-government agencies to provide support for residents who need it. Urban Fabric is proud to be able to offer affordable, well-kept premises for people who might otherwise find it difficult to find a place to live.
While residents have the option to take up shorter-term arrangements, others have lived at an Urban Fabric property since inception. Helping to create a strong sense of community drives us and is central to Urban Fabric’s success.
Our most recent property was completed in 2019 and offers apartments along with some shared communal facilities. Leading architect Bernard Seeber has been engaged for many of our projects and has been integral in helping us realise our vision of creating enduring residential communities.
Urban Fabric has provided housing for thousands of people since we started almost 20 years ago. We look forward to continuing our mission in years to come and providing attainable housing solutions.
